Changing Authorization for Books

I downloaded a book from the Books-a-Million website and, after much ado, was finally able to move it to my Nook HD+. However, I activated the book using my Books-a-Million ID which the Nook considers to be invalid and therefore it will not allow me to read the book since it asks me for my Adobe ID when I try to read it. Is there a way to either reauthorize the book on ADE to my Adobe ID, or allow my Nook to recognize my Books-a-Million ID as valid when trying to read the book?

(I've never tried it and it seems to get quite low rating, but may work ...?)
