Andy Bay Jul 16, 2013 9:46 AM (in response to bababongatwo)Really, Adobe? This question was asked already four days ago, is it perhaps too complicated for you to answer? Or maybe you do not want to give the answer, because it's going to be so ugly..
I don't know which one is worse: Adobe not being able to answer a extremely simple question about their own license terms or Adobe not wanting to answer it because the terms are so bad.
Don't you think your users should know what you make them agree to?

Ankit Khurana Jul 16, 2013 10:02 AM (in response to Andy Bay)Hi Andy,
Apologize for the delay
Using creative cloud subscription you can install and Activate software on upto 2 computer and after installing the software you can use the software on upto 2 computers.
No Matter who uses it, till the time, you say it is your computer, and your activation is used.
Thanks!
Ankit

If so (what I don´t believe), the wording of your EULA isn´t correct and has to be updated.
The sentence "...Customer may not enable or allow others to use the Software as Customer" is explicit and declares that you are not allowed to enable anyone (than you) to use the SW (CashCow) you rent. It´s also the difference between CashCow and CashCow team renting, as I understood.
Once again: We can take your word, that the sentence above is not right, and users are allowed to enable other persons than the license-holder to use it.
Please confirm (as this could be seen as an "addition" to Adobes EULA) & I also know users who not subscribed because of this phrase.
Or/and please declare also how this words are meant, when it´s legal to ignore the phrase? -

Ankit Khurana Jul 16, 2013 10:22 AM (in response to bababongatwo)You are not allowed to let anyone use your subscription on any other computer, as long as it is your computer and you are signed in, we are fine with it.

7. Re: EULA clarification: can my wife use the software?
Andy Bay Jul 16, 2013 12:14 PM (in response to Ankit Khurana)Hi!
Thanks for your answer. That is certainly good news!
I also think the wording in the EULA is highly misleading, since it seems to very simply forbid others of using the software without mentioning absolutely anything about the ownership of the computer being of any importance in the matter.

8. Re: EULA clarification: can my wife use the software?
bababongatwo Jul 16, 2013 12:47 PM (in response to Ankit Khurana)I would suggest you update your EULA, as "...we are fine with it" sounds more like we don´t proove that than it is leagl to do so.
As if I take the phrase as it is written, it is not allowed.

cc_merchant Jul 16, 2013 1:15 PM (in response to bababongatwo)That is another 450-500 files in 44 languages to update and download, making for another 1 GB to update. Have you noticed that nearly all top participants are Adobe staff, that are kept busy here because Marketing and Legal Departments keep on obfuscating things beyond recognition?

10. Re: EULA clarification: can my wife use the software?
bababongatwo Jul 16, 2013 1:25 PM (in response to cc_merchant)Think, t´s not so difficult.
They can shorten their EULA to something like this:
"We, Adobe, are allowed to do everything."So it´s 1 file in 44 languages and beyond 4K.
No problem.
And, as we know, fast delivering of updates is also no problem, nowadays.

11. Re: EULA clarification: can my wife use the software?
cc_merchant Jul 16, 2013 3:08 PM (in response to bababongatwo)That is how you and I would do it. Simple, effective and a rapid response, but all those approaches are alien to Adobe. Their adagio is, 'why do it in a simple way, when you can make it utterly confusing and difficult.'

I understand the Cloud EULA slightly differently.
I believe that I can log into my Adobe Account and download and install the software on ANY computer if it is for my personal use and as long as I do not have more than one other activated installation anywhere else.
This is of importance to Freelancers and instructors who may temporarily be working on a Customer's computer and away from their home-base.

Blaine91555 Jul 16, 2013 11:43 PM (in response to Ankit Khurana)Wow! I'm about to sign up for CC but have used your programs for many years. I've bought my wife and extra license for her to use twice and she never touches mine. I've wasted that money for nothing. Bummer. Thanks for clearing that up. Facepalm moment on my part.
