1. Re: How do you access root folders in Muse CC (attempting to add Retina support to site)?
Brad Lawryk Jul 13, 2013 7:20 AM (in response to jtaylorfoster)You can't access it from within Muse but you can through the site admin for the site if you ar using Business Catalyst or FTP if using a different host.

aishvarya rastogi Aug 22, 2013 9:24 AM (in response to Ben Rowley NTU)Hi Ben,
Login to your BC site admin > go to Site manager > Fine manager. it will take you to the root folder. Please refer to the following screenshot : http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/aish/2013-08-22_2152.png
Alternatively, you can connect to your BC site using any FTP client and you will be able see the root folder, as mentioned by Brad. For more info on how to connect to your site using FTP, Please refer to the following link http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/connecting-site-using-ftp-client.html
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

4. Re: How do you access root folders in Muse CC (attempting to add Retina support to site)?
Gaurav.S Aug 22, 2013 9:28 AM (in response to Ben Rowley NTU)Hi Ben,
I am not sure about the host of your site, but if it is BC, you can simply publish your site using Muse and then login to the admin panel, and under site manager-> File manager, upload your js file, you will see Root folder in breadcrumbs there.
If this is a third party host, the root folder might have different name, like public-html or something, so this is something your hosting provider can suggest your better. You can upload this file to your host provider in the same way, either use inbuilt file manager or a third party ftp client like Filezilla to upload the file.
Hope this helps.

Ben Rowley NTU Aug 23, 2013 2:03 AM (in response to aishvarya rastogi)Hi Aish,
Thanks for the quick response.
Apologies for my incompetence but I cant seem to see the tab you have indicated.
So as I'm firstly designing the mobile version of the site I haven't touched the desktop site yet. I have therefore used it to show you the screen shot of my business catalyst dashboard. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

8. Re: How do you access root folders in Muse CC (attempting to add Retina support to site)?
tinaswinkels Mar 14, 2014 7:11 PM (in response to Ben Rowley NTU)Hi,
I've followed all of the steps in the article and here but it doesn't appear to be working.
I downloaded the retina.js file from their website and uploaded it to the root file of the website using business catalyst file manager.
I added this (below) to the HTML head under page properties (tried both on a master page and on the home page on seperate attempts):
<script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/retina.js"></script>
I created a version of the logo exactly 2x larger (700px wide not 350px) and uploaded it to the images folder with the same name followed by "@2x".
I have checked and both of the files uploaded to business catalyst directly are still there (not overridden by muse publish) but i'm still seeing the fuzzy version of the logo on a 2013 macbook pro retina.
Any help would be much appreciated. The site is 256temp.businesscatalyst.com
THANKS!
Tina
