Not possible. Applying any security policy prevents the extraction of pages.
If not possible with Adobe, what program would suppport this???
Security is standardised. Some products ignore it however.
The reason, by the way, that it is blocked is that extracting pages makes a NEW document. This would have no security. So anyone who wanted to overcome security settings only has to extract pages, then do what they want.
I recommend you provide a library of document portions that your users can forward. Could even be provided as a porfolio.
This is exactly the information I needed, and the only place I have found it after way too much time searching for it. Thank you! It would be nice to have this info in the Adobe Acrobat doc somewhere!

"Not possible. Applying any security policy prevents the extraction of pages."
I just upgraded to 11.0.7 pro. I only want to allow PAGE PRINTING. All else "NOT ALLOWED"
Thus I chose: Printing Allowed: High Resolution & Changes Allowed: None.
Result however allows PRINTING and also allows: PAGE EXTRACTION !!!
Any ideas why my NONE setting still allows PAGE EXTRACTION?
Did you save, close, and reopen the document?
