I had it first and it worked then, but my laptop was slow so I deleted my profile and therefore deleted the program.
When I started installing it again, it got stopped in between and mucked up, so I uninstalled it, but I can't install it again and it won't download either.
I don't need to download it though, I already have the creative cloud application, but when I run the installer, near the end a dialogue box comes up saying:
Creative Cloud desktop failed to install.
Also is it meant to say 'Updating Creative Cloud desktop' when installing?

Could you please follow these steps and let us know if it helps you.
Please download and run Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
Run Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose the options to uninstall Adobe creative cloud.
Once done please rename OOBE Folder from these locations
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and Download Creative Cloud once again

I downloaded the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool but when I ran it, it completed with errors saying some files couldn't be cleaned up and I should close all internet browsers and run it again. I did that, and also restarted my laptop and ran it again, but they came up with the same error...
