Try building to an image. If that works, burn with ImgBurn for PC or Toast for Mac.
Thanks Stan - i'll give that a go after I try it again once more - 5th time lucky! ")
Thanks Stan, building an image and then burning with ImgBurn worked perfectly.... not sure what that error is / why it won't burn direct from Encore
I have assumed that some of these issues are permissions based; Then there is the problem of programs getting access to burners that are controlled by other processes. For many of us, we gave up on burning with Encore several versions back, and don't even test it to see if it would work better. ImgBurn for PC is just too good.
I surprisingly have had no issues until now with burning projects in Encore... I will most definitely be using ImgBurn from now - I was very impressed. Thanks again
You have solved your problem by using Imgburn (which I use for ALL disc burning) but here is some general information... for anyone else who reads this and wants to know "why" there may be problems
As well as the below, right click the program icon and select Run as Administrator,
which is NOT the same thing as running the computer with the Administrator account, and
which fixes several "odd" problems... To create a two layer DVD or a BluRay, you must
have Encore set to use the Run as Administrator option... and a Mac version
