I'm trying to get small images (~100x100 px) used for page navigation to resize in my CS6 responsive design. My CSS has width:auto and max-width:100%. This works when images fill across the entire div, but these small ones, which are a fraction of the div width, will not resize with the screen dimensions.
I see this work on BostonGlobe.com, but can't figure out how!
Can anybody educate me (and others) on how this is made to work?
Small images won't resize. For these and other reasons, it's best to avoid image based navigation. Use CSS to style your "buttons" or replace your current menu with one that is fully responsive in touch screen devices.
