RodWard Jul 15, 2013 11:18 PM (in response to Joanna Sciortino)If your slides are currently set to a Quality setting of Low (8bit) try increasing this to High 24bit or Optimized. Your colour issue may simply be due to the fact that the light yellow highlight may not fall into the 256 colours allowed bu Low 8bit quality.

Joanna Sciortino Jul 16, 2013 11:25 AM (in response to RodWard)Hi Rod,
Thanks I will try it. One question - Would I need to re-record it or just reset the Quality Setting?

4. Re: Disappearing highlights when in Project Mode vs seeing in Slide
Lilybiri Jul 16, 2013 11:26 AM (in response to Joanna Sciortino)Just change the quality to Optimized (now the default setting from 6.1 on). No need to record.

5. Re: Disappearing highlights when in Project Mode vs seeing in Slide
RodWard Jul 16, 2013 6:48 PM (in response to Lilybiri)If it is FMR and only recorded at 8 bit then you'd need to re-record. If it is normal slide content then Captivate always records at high quality. What you're setting with the Slide Quality option is the OUTPUT quality.

7. Re: Disappearing highlights when in Project Mode vs seeing in Slide
RodWard Jul 17, 2013 6:23 PM (in response to Joanna Sciortino)Sorry, I meant that it needs to be 32 bit. (Must not have had enough coffee when I posted that.)
The two FMR quality options are 16 bit and 32 bit. 16 bit it not high enough to capture some colours, and it can make subtle gradients look 'banded'. So you may need to re-record at 32 bit to get the colour effect you're now missing.
