I shoot with a lumix gh2. I always import my avchd .mts files using adobe prelude and then bring them into premiere for editing. In prelude when you select the clip you can hear the audio and see the waveforms. However, when I bring it into premiere it gets cut off 2 minutes in. The waveform flatlines at the 2min mark. Its very strange and I've never seen this before. I tried closing and creating a new premiere project and just keep having this issue.
This ever happen to anyone?
I appreciate any help
It has. Does it playback in the source monitor? On the timeline you can select the clip and go to Clip > Audio Options > Render & Replace.
Thanks, I actually figured out the problem literally, 30 seconds after I posted the question. it wasn't playing in the source or in the timeline. I exported from prelude to create a new .mts file and brought it into premiere and it loaded up fine. strange but it worked.
thanks for your response.
