R27 App Builder rebuilt dev app won't install

At the weekend on launching App Builder I was forced to upgrade to R27.

We have an Enterprise account.

I rebuilt my app (Multi Folio with iTunes subs) without any modifications and now it won't install via XCode organiser or iTunes.

The drag and drop indicates it's accepted the app (+ sign appears) the + disapears and nothing happens no error no feedback, nothing.

I've tried numerous things e.g. v26 and v27, resetting device/XCode/Mac, deleting existing app, nothing works.

I'm using XCode Version 4.6.3 (4H1503).

I know the app is funamentally ok as it will install direct to the device using an itms-services link via a local webserver, but this a time consuming workaround.

I'm concerned I may have an underlying issue somewhere that may cause issues further down the line.

It must be sopmething simple but I don't have time to figure it out at the moment so any pointers would be a great help.

You're talking about adding the dev app to iTunes, not submitting the distribution app to Apple, right? Have you tried removing the app from both iTunes and the device, syncing, and then adding the dev app again? Before you sync, make sure the app is set to be installed.

Hi Bob.

Yes it's a dev app.

I generally use XCode organiser to install dev apps, but iTunes also fails with all of the above tried. Also on 2 other Mac's with different version of XCode too.

The pre R27 App Builder build still installs ok.

It's anything (I have numerous apps) built with R27 AB fails, and fails silently (within a couple of seconds) in iTunes and XCode. There's no indication of failure in any logs.

However, as I said, the app will install via a itms-services link but very fustrating as in middle of development and forced to upgrade to R27. Had enough issues when forced to R26.

I also had numerous other issues all weekend with the Nav Tool bar Auto Launch button sticking on for all custom slots after I'd relaunched AB but this seems to have miraculously corrected itself today.

Ok, I've downloaded the app from App Builder i.e. resigned the app on a 2 different Macs (running Lion/Mountain Lion) as well now and that fails so that should eliminate the signing process.

And the same happens on different devices e.g. iPad Mini, iPad 1, iPhone 4.
