5. Re: Photoshop CC Extensions menu is not selectable
DigitalXIII Aug 22, 2013 6:46 AM (in response to DigitalXIII)Ok, it's been over a month and still no help on this.
I still cannot open the extension menu in Photoshop CC at my work. I can open it at home just fine. At work, I get nothing at all, even after reinstalling and yes obviously the box is checked, that was the first thing I checked when I had the issue.
Please, anyone?

Nick Nack Sep 6, 2013 2:31 AM (in response to DigitalXIII)I've got exactly the same problem. It seems CC has no-end of problems. First I had issues with DW, now PS. I've got the exact same issue. I can't select the extensions menu. I need to desperately use the GuideGuide plugin.

onlinedelivery Oct 12, 2013 10:43 AM (in response to DigitalXIII)Another CC user with the same problem. Seems like the only updates we get to CC are constant MS-style bug fixes. Hopefully this will one will be fixed soon.

dizania51 Jun 19, 2014 1:11 AM (in response to snarzom12)I have found a solution.
1. Delete Photoshop CC
2. Install Adobe Extension Manager CC
3. Install Photoshop CC.
Done!

Samoreen Jun 19, 2014 2:39 AM (in response to DigitalXIII)Same problem here with PS CC 2014. The Window | Extensions menu is grayed out and I can't see there the extensions that were visible in PS CC (2013) although hey have been re-installed.

16. Re: Photoshop CC Extensions menu is not selectable
Facewagon Jun 19, 2014 2:42 AM (in response to Samoreen)I had the same problem and it turned out the reason the Extensions menu was greyed out is that no extensions were installed. I had to go to Help->Browse Add-ons and reinstall from there. Once I had, I restarted Photoshop and my extension appeared correctly.

KeswickPaul Jun 26, 2014 8:46 AM (in response to DigitalXIII)Hiya,
I'm, also having the same problem with CC 2014 as are a lot of people by the look of the many posts.
I thought Adobe's idea was to streamline workflow and make us more productive. It appears that they may have released an upgrade with a major component not working. This doesn't improve workflow.
Further to Facewagon, I have entensions installed as per Extension Manager and it's still greyed out.
Would Adobe please give us an answer.
Cheers
Paul

Chris Cox Jun 26, 2014 4:15 PM (in response to KeswickPaul)To enable the "Extensions" menu in CC 2014, you have to install some HTML Panels that are compatible with CC 2014. Older Flash Panels will not work in CC 2014.

Also how would everyone had known that they needed to do that?

20. Re: Photoshop CC Extensions menu is not selectable
Chris Cox Jun 27, 2014 4:21 PM (in response to KeswickPaul)You know to do that by reading the release notes, or the hundreds of blog posts talking about the death of Flash Panels.

jaxtamatic Jul 22, 2014 7:46 PM (in response to DigitalXIII)I had the same situation, but when I changed my workspace via the drop-down box, Extensions became available.
I was in my own custom workspace with Extensions still disabled/greyed out. I switched to Essentials and the Extensions option was working, and it was still working when I switched back. But then the Workspace option was disabled/greyed out so I did the ol' switcheroo again, and now everything's fine. Strange though.

lindarehlin Aug 22, 2014 10:17 AM (in response to Chris Cox)Wow. That is extremly rude. You do know that this is a forum where one should be able to get help? Not a bitchy answer by someone who is obviously bored at work. Get your service mind straight. Instead of being cocky - why not try and educate and help: This is how you get this to work:
