    Linking graphics frames

I'm creating a template and I'd like to link frames that will auto fill based on importing a graphic into the main frame with rotation and positioning intact. For example, frame 1 contains a banner graphic, frame 2 would duplicate the graphic rotated 180 and aligned to the bottom of the graphic. Can I do this?

Create the first frame and then copy it to the clipboard. Choose edit>paste and link.

Select the pasted graphic and rotate it. Find that link in the links panel and right click. Choose link options and then set them as shown:

Now place the graphic into the first frame and you'll see the second frame is out of date. Update and the graphic will appear in the new frame.

Note that this is for CS6 and CC only.
