Did you tick the option (under Edit - Preferences - Comments) to copy the
highlighted text into the comments?
yes i've already done that (but after I highlighted the text)

After highlighting the text is too late, I'm afraid, as this will not apply to any highlights you've created in the past, only to new one. Your options right now are:
- Re-create all of the highlights you've made with this option on. Then you would be able to use the built-in Create Comments Summary tool.
- Use a script to identify and copy the highlighted text and copy it into the comments for you, so you can create the summary. I've developed a script that does this. You can contact me by PM or email (email@example.com) if you're interested in it.
