I need a laptop for Premiere Pro (unfortunately it's got to be a laptop). I've found one that I believe meet most of the requirements I was looking for but Istill have way too many doubts about potential options and also about the best disk configuration. If anyone could help on this, I would really appreciate:
How do you like this laptop for Premiere? What should I do about the options available? Which 3rd disk should I pick? How should I configure the disks, OS/Programs/Cache/Projects/Footage/Exports?
Thanks a lot for your help!!!!!!!!!
The "effective" minimum for PPro is 16Gig
Also, since video editing runs the CPU/GPU really hard (meaning hot) consider a "fan base" (I don't have a laptop, so don't know the correct term) which is a flat base containing one or two fans to suck warm air away from the bottom of the laptop and exhaust it out the sides... cooling is the friend of a video editing computer
