It was probably the Frequency Analysis window. But in CS6 the Manual Pitch Correction effect might also help you.

I can't seem to find something in the manual pitch correction effect that will tell me what key the sound loop is in. Is there a step by step process you could give me? Or is there some other program that can detect the key of a loop and if there is could you tell me how to do it?
Ok so now I see the notes on the right side of the of the clip when I open manual pitch correction. I'm trying to detect the key of a piano loop, so how do i interpret what i'm seeing with the manual pitch correction to figure out what the key of the loop is?
