Unlike other coding lanquages, Lingo requires global variables to be declared wherever they are used.
Declare global a in movA.dcr frame and movB.dcr frame and that should work. I hope.
i wrote this and it worked:
on exitFrame me
a = "ok"
go to movie "main.dir"
other files.dir/.dcr/.dxr :
on prepareFrame me
if a = "ok" then
go to next
But I want to konw , i must always insert my codes in any Handler? or there is any way without Handler?
when i write a code outside handler it show me:
script error: Handler definition expected
And when i try to save and publish i choose ignore but code not work because outside Handler.
Yes, all code - aside from 'global' ands 'property' declarations - must go inside a handler definition
