I have two questions:
Without manually selecting the text or selecting all text, is there a way select text from mid-point and below? If you use command shift and arrow down, it goes one line at a time, but I want to do it in one click.
If I have several items on top of each other is there a quick way to dive through the items?
1- Ctrl+Shift+Arrow down
2- Ctrl+Selection Tool + mouse click to select top item then click to select the next one
(or select one of your items) then go to Object menu>Select>Previous Object or Next Object
Cmd + Shift + End will select fromthe current point to the end of the story...
Another good way to select objects that are behind others (since CS5) is to open the Layers panel and expand the layer, then click the little box on the right next to the object you want to select.
