I have created a form in InDesign CS6 and I would like some of my fields to be required before allowing to submit. I have checked the "required" box in the Buttons and Forms window for all the fields I would like to be required. However, when I export as PDF Interactive, I fill out the form and leave some of my required buttons not filled out (on purpose) and the form will still submit. Am I missing a step somewhere?
It's a bug. [Edit: Adobe doesn't call them bugs. They are "known issues."]
There was a previous discussion about this and an Adobe engineer posted a workaround in Acrobat.
I believe there was also a fix within InDesign. I'll keep poking around to find it.
