I want to add # tags in urls to create deep links. What I want to know is for the following url:
1. would "example.html#mytag" be cached OR "example.html" will be cached in dispatcher OR would they both be ignored and not cached
2. when I visit example.html#sometag would I be served example.html cached page OR dispatcher would hit the publish instance (assuming it is not the first hit to this url)
Fragment identifiers are not sent to the server. They are only processed by the client. Thus, they have no impact on dispatcher caching.
