I've created a PDF which needs to be printed physically, however, I do not want the option of it being printed to a PDF becauset that will remove all of the protective measures set forth on the document. Is there a way to ensure that my document is protected from editing and printing to a pdf, but still able to be printed in paper form? I am utilizing Acrobat X.
If a PDF is protected, Adobe Acrobat won't allow it to be printed back to PDF, but pretty much anything else will.
The ISO PDF specification doesn't support the idea of permissions based on the printer's device type or name, and it'd be trivial to work around anyway.
