InDesign CC is the latest version - you do not get CS5 or CS6 or any other version with it.
You can have CS4 and CS5.5 installed at the same time though.
To get CS5 or CS6 you would need to purchase the upgrade options for both.
Best to contact your local Adobe for assistance.
Well, it does actually say on this page that
- Creative Cloud paid members have access to a select set of archived versions of the desktop apps. Starting with CS6, select versions of each of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Archived versions are provided "as is" and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.
But it's not clear to me whether this includes CS5.
CS6 and CC are the only versions included in Creative Cloud.
Not quite what I hoped for, but at least I won't have to do any uninstalling.
You don't need to uninstall any of the previous versions to install the new ones (and I would recommend that you don't). If you feel you have to remove CS4, or if you want to install CS5 (and can find a legitimate license for it), then you would wnat to uninstall both CS4 and CS5.5 and reinstall in version order.
You shouldn't lose your prefs if you don't tell the uninstaller to remove them, but it's always a good idea to back them up anyway. See Replace Your Preferences
