thnord Jul 25, 2013 11:48 AM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)What version of AME are you using? I have so far been unable to reproduce the issue in AME CC.

3. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
thnord Jul 25, 2013 3:52 PM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)I tried it again with an Animation source and still no repro. I'll keep trying, but let me know if you think of anything else that might be relevant (i.e. video card/driver?)

Nick Spiropoulos Jul 26, 2013 3:56 AM (in response to thnord)I'm under a Non Discolosure Agreement, but would like to send you a shortened source and an encode from that source... Are you Staff of Adobe Systems, Inc? Please tell me how to privately send you two files.

5. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
Nick Spiropoulos Jul 26, 2013 4:01 AM (in response to thnord)I'm running:
MacPro 5,1 10.8.4
NVIDIA K5000
File source is historical B&W footage in a 1024 x 768 8bit Animation Codec MOV (no alpha) from After Effects.
The problem occured with AME 6.0.2 (64-bit Mode) & AME 7.0.1 both using above settings.
Can't think of anything else that is even remotely relevant... Thanks for you help.

8. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
thnord Jul 26, 2013 4:35 PM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)Perhaps. You could try removing half of them and see if the issue still occurs. If it does, remove the other half and try again. If it doesn't occur after removing some of the QT components then it is one of them.

12. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
thnord Jul 30, 2013 11:36 AM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)Great! Thanks for reporting this and getting the relevant details. I'll get a bug logged so we can investigate further. Not sure yet if this is a bug on our side or theirs. Which version of FCP do you have installed?

16. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
Nick Spiropoulos Nov 26, 2013 12:37 PM (in response to thnord)Okay. thought that the FCP uncompressed component file was causing this issue. I was wrong. Not sure what I did, but now the problem is back. I have removed ALL components from both the Library and ~/System/Library Quicktime folder.
The problem cropped back up after opening a 3 year old FCP project file to make a change to an old film. Now, once again, my H264 XGA sized encodes are getting the 3 green pixels introduced. HELP!

17. Re: 3 Green Pixels Introduced in XGA MP4 Encode
Nick Spiropoulos Feb 10, 2014 6:31 AM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)Using the codec ProRes HQ is contributing to the problem where 3 green lines are introduced. The issue is resolved when I use ProRes 444
