- Change to your print preset

the quanity is part of the preset
My quantity needed changes with each document. Sometimes I need 3, sometimes I need 47...
I was working fine for weeks, where I could keep the preset and change the quantity. I've suddenly lost functionality I once had.
I can't change the preset to include the number of copies I need each time I need to print. It's just not feasible.
Are thye other settings changing, or are you just unhappy that the the label has gone from your custom preset name to "custom"? As long as the other parameters aren't affected, it shouldn't be a problem, and you can always use File > Print Presets > <your preset> instead of File > Print to load the print dialog.
The presets are extremely customized. It took me an hour to set each one up. (there are three presets that I use on a regular basis). Yes, all the settings go back to the default and thus is not functional for my purposes.
File > Print Presets > <your preset> leads me to the exact same problem. When I change the quantity it returns to (custom)
Is there somewhere else I can look for troubleshooting information? I was at a complete loss for how to search for my strange problem...
I tested here, it is the same as SarahHunter1234 said go to (custom). But on the otherhand the only different is the quantity and the other settings it's stick to preset.
If that's the case, then there is no problem, only the inconvenience of not knowing which preset you started with. That's solved the next time by using File > Print Presets > to open the print dialog tot he one you want so you need only change the quantity and press print.
