So my workflow usually includes bringing SWFs into AE and looping them. This always worked flawlessly in previous versions of AE, but since CS6, a swf loop stutters, and loses its last frame when looped (so it ends up looking like it's pausing for a moment each time the loop cycles, rather than playing a fluid loop). I'm now having to export png sequences out of flash to get things to work properly, but I'd much rather have the benefit of working with a vector format like swf.
Anyone else encounter this problem? Seems like a weird bug.
Try using time remapping and setting a keyframe one frame before the end. Then add a loopOut("cycle") expression.
SWF's cam contain all kinds of media. Is yours all vector or are there bitmaps and video involved?
I do use that expression for looping comps, but with the swf I'm still losing one frame at the end of the swf. Also, they used to work fine, and then suddenly in CS6 they don't which leads me to believe it's some bug.
And yes, it's only Vector data in my swfs. No bitmap or video.
