    Help authorizing my computer please!

      Every time I go to authorize my computer i put in my correct information and press authorize and this message comes up every time: Activation Server Error code: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED please help all I want to do is read my library books before they expire!!

          Double-check that your computer and any devices you use are set to the correc time and correct timezone.

           

          It may be that you have hit the ADE authorization issue ....

          Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.

          Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.

          A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.

           

          This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

          Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.

                 Thank you so much! All I needed to do was set my computer to the correct time. I thought it was a no biggie but thank you so much you are a lifesaver!
