Hi! I would like some help with understanding what size of picture would be the best for a time laps film edited via PE 10 and which settings I should use in PE. Today I seem to always get a blach part on the fram on both left and right side as the "screen" is bigger than the pictures. I like to maintain the most largest view as possible without the black frames.
You can create a 1920 x 1080 or lessor resolution Time Lapse video in Premiere Elements.
The focus is to import your ordered sequential photos into Premiere Elements with the appropriate project preset for the resolution that you have.
Once on the Timeline, you reduce the duration of all the photos to typically 1 to 5 frames. Depending on how many photos are in the Time Lapse series you may need to do some math to figure out what photo duration to use to fit your video into a fixed duration and get the desired effect.
Please check out my blog post on Timeline video basics.
