1. Re: Fixed 5.2rc: ...images processed with PV2003 were adding a post-crop vignette...
dj_paige Aug 1, 2013 6:35 AM (in response to DramaticPhotographic)Since it says "Fixed", I would imagine that in LR 5.2RC, it's not there (but since I haven't installed LR 5.2RC yet I don't really know for sure), so of course you could install LR 5.2RC and look and tell all of us (oh wait, Adobe did tell all of us...)
I do know that in LR 5.0, this "Post Crop Vignette..." was there and it was a problem for some (although for me it wasn't a problem) -- it didn't change the appearance of the photo, but it did screw up the usefulness of the History Panel

Jim Wilde Aug 1, 2013 8:42 AM (in response to DramaticPhotographic)The "fix" works as follows:
1. If you use LR5.2 RC to upgrade a catalog containg some PV2003 images, there will be no issue....i.e. you will not see the unexpected "Post Crop Vignette Style: Paint Overlay" entry in the develop History.
2. If you open an LR5 catalog which was created by upgrading from an earlier version using LR5.0, any PV2003 images will STILL show the "Post Crop Vignette Style: Paint Overlay" entry in the develop History, BUT it will no longer have the problem of losing all intervening history steps should you click on a prior history step.
3. Any already-lost history steps caused by the problem in LR5.0 will remain lost.

I had to go back to my last 4.4 catalog to retrieve my lost history steps. I'll wait a bit longer before upgrading to 5 again!
