Yes, Adobe’s ACR 6.2 update page says that version supports the 60D: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4807 so subsequent version should also support it, including your ACR 6.7. You might want to confirm you have ACR 6.7 running by doing Help / About Plug-in… / Camera Raw and make sure there is only one Camera Raw entry present and that it is indeed version 6.7 not 6.0 or 6.1, somehow. It used to be that people could manually update camera raw and if they put it in the wrong location while PS might see it, it would invariably use the older ACR version instead of the newer one.
What message do you get when you try to open the files?
They may be corrupted, somehow. To check for corruption using DPP you need to actually save a JPG from the file, not just view the thumbnail or preview, because these view-only operations use the camera-embedded preview and do not attempt to use the raw data to create an image like ACR or LR do.
If you want to post a link to one of the files, here, for others to take a look, they can confirm if the files are corrupted. The way to do this is use a large-file hosting service like dropbox.com and then post the public download link in a message.
Below is the error message received from ACR
I have put the file onto dropbox, here is the link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dijcuu9ug3a3223/CWKL63CKnw
The raw file you posted is not corrupt; however, it is from a 650D which wasn’t supported in ACR 6.7. See screen capture, below.
Do you have a 60D file that doesn’t work that you can post?
You could convert the 650D raw files to DNGs to process them in CS5/ACR 6.7, or upgrade to CS6/ACR 8.1 for $200, or subscribe to the creative cloud single-app, or perhaps expierment with Lightroom, with the longest timeframe would be available with LR 5.2 RC that expires Sept 30.
Now i feel like a moron, just checked the camera and it clearly states 650D. Thanks for your help, i will try the converting to DNG route first. Again thanks
