The FIG project is an excellent addition to the Flex Developer Center and Flex Community. I have been eagaly reading Robs posts on designing for flex and look forward to the remaining articles as they are released. It is great that ephasis is put on good UI design practices like this and your new components such as Pan | Zoom etc inspire new possibilities with flex apps.
This is a great and very welcome addition to Devent (it's the first time I've changed my browser's home page in years!) I look forward to your future examples and articles. Excellent stuff!
TO the FIG commiters, can you point me to any guides or tutorials on customizing the Pan|Zoom component to operate on 'any UIComponent'? I hope I have not mis-interpreted the the comments on the homepage for this component. I am new to Flex with only a brief commercial experience under my belt roughly a year and a half ago.

What is the syntax for referencing an interface, module, and the parent that are all in different
For example, the modules are in a folder named "mods". The interface is in a folder named "modInterfaces", and then the parentApplication is at the root level.
In the parentApp, I am referencing the interface like this:
Unless the interface is in the same folder as the parent app, I get a undefined property error. So I tried:
and other things with no effect.
