In a file many decimal numbers should be approximate.
It is possible to grep it?
Numbers with decimals between 01 an 50 may be detected and eliminated* as they do not alter the number (29,16 = 29) and the root remains as an integer.
* The combination 01, 02, 03 until 09 may be put in a pipe?
Not sure this can be done with GREP (I suspect not). Possibly it's scriptable, however, if there's a function that can read a number text string and turn it into a real number for processing using existing rounding functions.
Best to ask over in scripting.
A Jong's script adds or substract in a row of number but here it seems very killing.
