All you need to do is replace the bad display profile (the one making everythhing yellow) for the external display with a profile that actually matches his display.

How do you do that? I am having the same problem. My whites are yellow and many of the photos do not look right.

The resolution for me was calibrating both displays in Windows 7. See the link below for the step-by-step instructions.
Once I completed the color calibration on each monitor all was well. Note: Follow the instructions step-by-step. No short cuts. Let me know if this resolved your issue.
