I have this shot of a singer in front of the green screen. We did not film it and was told that in some shots it was hand held. So i masked out as much of the BG as possible and keyed it in Ae. What i am left with is a hardwood floor around his legs.
So what is a method to handle this?
The other problem is worse. as i have a cieling and wall behind his hair. In this shot i was thinking of creating a white-ish BG to sort of hide the cieling.
What do you think?
Keying plus rotobrush in AE CC. That is your only reliable option. It is going to take some time. Make sure that you are not spending time on shots that you'll never use.
on the hair shot with the cieling, do you think that i could key > pre-comp > mask the hair > key the white like its a green screen and get a good pull?
It would be a track matte in the end.
