Not sure what I did because it has worked fine in the past but when I bring video to the timeline vias the source monitor with the overwrite or insert button I get no audio. I get audio if I drag the clip but not when I use (.) or (,) shortcuts. Did I inadvertantly change something or is this a work around?
Are you using PPro CC?
If so, source patching and track targeting has been changed. See http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/source-patching-track-targetting.html for an explanation.
Make sure to select an unlocked audio track as the source track before using insert or overwrite.
No, still using CS6. It had worked earlier in the project. I did full around with the expanded audio track but can't figure out why it all of a sudden stopped bringing audio from the source window when using shortcuts.
Is it possible your clip has unusual audio and it's being placed in a new track below the tracks you can see?
