difficulty downloading flash player

I am having difficulty loading the updated flash player on my mac.  when i get to the id and password screen it wont take my info

That's PURELY an OS X password issue. That dialogue box is generated by the OS (as it is for ANY software install). You need to check that CapsLock is not on, first. Try changing your user account password also.
