Thank you for your reply. I'll be honest, I'm struggling to match up what selections you have made in the specifications bit with the ones I'm meant to make when I do it.
Also, what is the situation with regards to a Graphics card?
I'm completely new to all this I'm afraid so some of my questions may be basic!
i7-4770K with HT, instead of the i5 without HT,
32 GB memory instead of 8 GB,
LG BDR burner, instead of DVD burner,
256 GB Samsung SSD instead of 128 GB.
I would have liked to exchange the PSU for a Gold label, but that was not an option.
The GTX 770 is almost overkill, a GTX 760 would be more in line with the other components.
Better add another disk and forget about the raid1 setup.Just use separate disks without raid1. It is only expensive and does not improve performance.And add a backup disk to the whole sytem, possibly in a hot-swappable bay or as an external eSATA.
