Is there a way to evaluate a dynamic string?

Is there a way to evaluate a dynamic string?
The first example is static and does what I want.
The second example is dynamic and shows the problem I am having.

      Thank you in advance.

This can be done, it involves the proper nesting of the DE() 'Delay
Evaluate' and Evaluate() functions. IIRC it would be
          <cfoutput...>#Evaluate(DE(str))#</cfoutput>.

Another way to handle this type of functionality is to write out the
dynamic CFML into a file, then include that file for processing.

As an aside, this often turns out to be much more problematic then the
          perceived benefits.
