1. Re: Media Dropout - M2T re-indexing

Hi,
Thanks for your post. The workflow of the CC has been changed. As in CC you do not have to select sequence settings and you can create a new sequence directly from the clips. Also, the interpretation of editing modes in both the version is different so, it may happen that if you check the editing mode of your project in CS6 and CC they might differ from each other. So It is adviced to finish your project in CS6 and then start a new project in CC.
Regards,
Vinay

BrickBuilt1.0 Aug 12, 2013 5:29 PM (in response to Vinay Dwivedi)So Premiere CS6 files are not compatible with Premiere CC? That's your answer?

dsfsdsdfsdffdsf Aug 12, 2013 5:41 PM (in response to BrickBuilt1.0)Steady on, it's not incompatible.. just occassionally buggy. We've found bugs in about 1 in 20 projects that we bring up from CS6 to CC. It's not a biggie - try creating a new project in CC then importing your CS6 project into it. W've had a bit of luck with that method but no guarantees of course..

BrickBuilt1.0 Aug 12, 2013 6:12 PM (in response to dsfsdsdfsdffdsf)Thanks, Paul. That's a bummer. I got through a couple full days work before I ran into this problem, so I'll be re-editing either way. Best of luck with your transition.

6. Re: Media Dropout - M2T re-indexing
BrickBuilt1.0 Aug 13, 2013 8:14 AM (in response to Vinay Dwivedi)So I tried opening this footage in a brand new Premiere CC project to experiment and I am getting the same issue with ALL the files that were working properly in CS6. I point the media browser to the M2T files and I watch it index, as a new clip finishes, the previous clip or clips drop back into media pending. This is a general issue with Premiere CC and my Sony HDV footage, not a CS6 to CC conversion issue. Some help from Adobe would be appreciated.
