Fading in transition for slideshow or between pages?

    Picturequest Community Member

      Hello Guys!

I'm a long time Adobe user but new to Muse. I have a simple web page project and could use advice.

Regarding fades from one image to another, or fading to black then back to the next image.

      1) I need a simple black screen with the site name. Then either from a user click, or after a set time 2-3 seconds, the page (or image) fades to black then to the main page. How can I make page 1 fade to black then fade to page 2?

      2) in a similar line, there will be frame and a slideshow. I'd prefer to have the images load from an image folder so they can be easily updated. Or I can render a looped video? I'd like them to also fade from one image to the next with a small fade to black in between.

So far everything else in Muse is working well for me.

Thanks again for answering a newbee question.

          Hi Maxi,

1> Unfortunately there is no option to have fading effect transition for pages. You can add this as a feature request under the ideas section on this forum under "Your stuff".

2> When creating a composite widget, you have the option in slideshows to acheive this effect of fade in and fade out for images. There is no option for the fading effect to fade out and go to black and then the next image would fade in. However you can add images to the slide show and after every image you can set a black box (rectangle) to acheive this effect.
