I need to know how to draw a pointed end on a rectangle. The end should look like a greater-than sign. Do I just need to use lines to draw the rectantgle, then create a graphic and set the path attribute to the appropriate value? I have no idea how to structure this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Again, the end of the rectangle should look like this: > . Maybe using lines to draw a rectangle is the wrong approach... Please correct me if I'm going about this all wrong.
You could save yourself some hassle by using a box container and a large > character.
It all depends on what you want, specifically.
You could, of course use as3 drawing primitives.
I'm devleoping a mobile application, so that option isn't available. Ultimately, I need to create a custom altogether. I just wanted to simplify the process so that I wouldn't have to draw paths for every single line of the component. If I could just figure out how to use spark's built-in line to draw the lines, all I'd have to do is draw the pointed end.
