My apologies, im using Adobe CC with all the recent updates. My comp stats are:
Nvidia Maximus configuration with quadro 4000 and tesla c2075
32 gigs of ram
240 gig ssd project drive
footage is a 1280x720 targa sequence rendered from maya
Everything looks fine in the after effects preview window and the same when exported out of after effects, but when using dynamic link to premiere the footage looks very fuzzy both in the timeline as well as when exported out of premiere.
It looks like the number of samples in your Ray Traced rendering is set too low.
We still know nothing about your project, the settings, or your PPro project either. What part of that image comes from Dynamic Link?
Understood, I assure you the samples aren't too low, I have them at 25 in after effects and like I said the footage looks crisp and well in after effects, it isn't untill its viewed in a premiere pro timeline through dynamic link that it looks fuzzy. I've attempted a few different sequence configurations to see if that was the problem but each looked the same. Here are a couple screen shots of the current settings I attempted but with no change:
Did I stump everyone? I still cant figure this one out
Don't know how I missed this but if you are using extruded text in AE you must render using AE's render cue and not use Dynamic Link because unless AE is live and active the GPU rendering will be disabled. Try that and your softness should go away.
