I am using Indesign CS6, I have a document sized 10.0396 in(W) by 14.7639 in(H), When i print it at 100% Scale on A4 Size Paper with tiling overlap set to 0.6 in, it takes 3 sheets of paper to print, but when i export it to pdf and then print it from adobe reader at actual size and all the same data it takes only 2 sheets of A4 Size paper, i am struggling to find the way to do the same from indesign itself, Please suggest a way to achieve it.
I've never tried to tile from Acrobat. Does it include the alignement marks that ID uses, and that take up space? My guess would be you need to reduce the overlap if you have any hope of getting only two pages from ID.
I have turned off alignment marks and crop marks, I previously used pagemaker 7 to print the document on 2 sheets of paper. No i cannot reduce the overlap from 0.6 inches. I don't understand why ID cannot print it on 2 sheets.
