What happens when you try to open a file in Photoshop CC?
And have you updated your video card drivers from the GPU maker's website?
It just does absolutely nothing. It opened a pic at first and seemed 'normal' then crashed again. It has never really fully worked but keeps crashing. I did not do that. Not sure if I would know how to, but I'm sure I could figure it out. ;) does that have to do with the NVIDIA? Bc I know my computer had that and I saw another dudcussion of someone with what seemed to be a very similar situation. ??
What does the crash report say about the name of the faulting module?
Yes, crashes like that are usually due to the video card driver. (though I was guessing from the original description that the image was just not drawing)
Have you tried disabling GPU drawing in Photoshop before opening a document?
Have you updated your video card driver from the GPU maker's website?
There was no crash report. It just doesn't do anything.
How do you disable the GPU drawing in PS?
I have not updated my video card from the GPU makers website. I'm not even sure who/what my video card/GPU maker is.
OK, then it isn't crashing. If it crashed, there would be some kind of crash report.
Edit -> Preferences -> Performance -> Use Graphics Processor
Check Help -> System Info for information about your GPU and the driver version.
