Okay, I've spent the whole day trying to fix this today. crossdomain.xml is my nemesis.
I had my app working briefly. I made some code changes, after which I started receiving Error #2048, which I have been totally unable to solve.
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
<site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all" />
<allow-access-from domain="*" secure="false" />
Part of the content is supplied from a site using http, with an authentication call to a site (on the same host, in the case of development) using https. Call it "mydomain.local" for http and "mydomain.local:8443" for https.
I've also tried adding the explicit site domain="mydomain.local" in place of and in addition to the "*" in allow-access-from elements in the crossdomain.xml
This worked prior to my code change.
In all cases, after my small code change (to explicitly specify the source of a mxml element), it stopped working, and no variants of crossdomain.xml seem to make a bit of difference.
What am I doing wrong here?
Post the full text of the error.
The full text of the error in SecurityErrorEvent.text was "Error #2048".
No issues with this from the Air build. The web build cleared itself up about an hour later. I can only assume an old crossdomain.xml from before I added the domain="*" entry was being cached somewhere other than the browser cache, since flushing the browser cache made no difference.
