On the Master Page on an ID6 document I have the header <firstlast_ buisness> which is labelled with the script editor. This is required so the first and last business entry appears in the header. Example: The following data appears on the page... Business_Name > Person_Name > Address etc. I want the Business_Name to appear in the header. I’m running the data from a CMS and the ‘Business_Name’ is mapped to style sheets via tags and in the body is displaying correctly. My question how do I make the ‘Business_Name’ appear in the header? I have inherited the template and currently I have the ‘Person_Name’ appearing in the header which I need to change but can't find where?
I'm a newbie to the ID forum and in DESPERATE need of help so if what I have explained above isn't clear PLEASE just say and I will try again!
I'm not sure how you would do this with scripting, but ordinarily I'd just use a pair of Running Header variables keyed to the paragraph style, one set to First on Page, the other set to last.
Thank you so much Peter, I was soooooooo over compliacting things, last time I had to do varaible headers was in CS3 and that was scripting. VERY
