I'm building an app for a client. The printed version is 160 pages, and they want everything plus more in their iPad version. I've been poking around at similar publications on the iPad, and my biggest complaint is that some of these books are huge and take time to download. So much time that as a consumer, I'd probably cancel the download before viewing the content.
My question is, is there are recommended size by Apple to keep the aps to? Is 72 dpi ok for screen resolution? I don't want any of my images to be any larger than they need to be.
