Did you use Extension Manager CC or CS6?
Where can I get this extension, It would be very helpful for us if you can send this extension to email@example.com.
In addition, you can get this extension version 2.3.1 from exchange, it is a free extension, and it could be installed successfully.
I am using Extension Manager CC. I downloaded the CC version of the extension from http://www.russellbrown.com/scripts.html
I also tried to install directly from the exchange, but that gave me "error code -1" when I tried to install it and I couldn't find any documentation on the error code to troubleshoot any further.
I emailed you a copy of the zip file from the wesite so you can take a look.
I aquired your extension form e-mail, but it installed successfully with Extension Manager 7.0.1 on windows 64bit.
I think there are two issues on your PC
2."error code -1"
Could you please send the log file for this two issues to us, it is very helpfull for us to investigate this.
You can get log file by following step:
1. Create a file called 'ExManCoreLibLog.YES' and place it in the following location:
WIN: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Log\ExManCoreLibLog.YES
MAC: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log/ExManCoreLibLog.YES
2. Reproduce this issue
3. The logs files are then generated and saved in the following location:
WIN: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Log
MAC: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Log
4. Record the log for the first issue, and goto step 2 to collect log for issue 2
Sorry for the delayed reponse. This is a corporate laptop and they needed it back for hardware upgrades (that took forever to just install more RAM). But anyways, when I got it back I noticed that I still had parts of the CS6 Extension Manager installed as well as the CC Extension Manager. When I removed all traces of the CS6 Extension Manager, everything worked. So I guess my questions is now, since I still have a CS6 application installed (Fireworks CS6) will their be an issue using just the CC Extension Manager?
the version of Extension Manager need match the version of the products. For example, Extension Manager CS6 is only used to manage the CS6 applications.
Extension Manager CC and CS6 can installed in the same machine. They can coexist .
