watch xfinity on sony google tv

When I attempt to watch tv online using my sony google tv, I get an error that my adobe flash needs to be updated. However when I try to update it, I get another error that my google chrome includes adobe and gets automatically updated. How do I fix this?

This has been an ongoing issue with Google TV for over a year. Since the plugin is embedded in the Chrome browser it uses, there's not much anyone outside of Google can do. It's their plugin, built with code from Adobe, but theirs nonetheless.

I've seen plenty of threads in the Google forums about this and apparently Google isn't giving it much priority.
