    Getting a TextFrame from an xmlelement

    timberjava

      I have the markupTag name and contents for xmlElements within a document.

      I now want to get the associated text frame so I can insertLabel onto that frame for that xmlElement.

      Any ideas?

      I so far have:

      tagName = app.activeDocument.xmlElements[i].markupTag.name;

      tagContents = app.activeDocument.xmlElements[i].xmlContent.contents;

      (above lines in a recursive for loop that delivers each tag name and contents for the xmlElement).

      Do I go the pageItems route for the xmlElement, or do I go for the textColumn route for determining the associated text frame.  Both are giving me wrong objects and I am not discovering another method.

      Thanks in advance!
