Toda1 Aug 27, 2013 11:52 AM (in response to Test Screen Name)I am aware that Flash Player and Reader have nothing in common. I downloaded Flash Player from a link I found on the forums. I can't download Adobe Reader v 11 because I keep getting "Failed to initialize". Even after I turn off Avast. Thanks for your post.

Toda1 Aug 27, 2013 12:00 PM (in response to Test Screen Name)From the Adobe website ... I get the screen that indicates it is installing and then after it's supposedly installed, I press Run and then I get the message, "Failed to initalize".

Toda1 Aug 28, 2013 2:20 AM (in response to pwillener)Thank you so much for the links. I see in control panel under add programs where everything downloaded successfully. I really appreciate your insight and help. As a grad student, I can now view videos from my professors. I really appreciate your help.
