I notice the Premiere Pro takes like 6 minutes to get a video ready for Youtube, compared to Windows Movie Maker takes 2 minutes. This is for a 4 minute clip. Imagine if the movie was 30 minutes.
I want to get the conversion time down by reducing the quality of the video. it's just Youtube. The Premiere Pro doesn't seem to allow me to reduce quality, why is that?
Also, why doesn;t it have a Youtube ready option? It's becoming a standard.
6 minutes for 4 minute movie is not bad. Its hardware determined as well as settings eg 2 pass.
Did you find the YT Preset (export H264) ?
Most people want best/better quality!
No, I don't know what that is. Could it be in this box somewhere? http://i.imgur.com/YPWFr6r.jpg
When I choose to export, this is the window where I should be able to adjust the size of the vid, but I can't.
I watched a vid on Youtube where this very box looked different a year ago and the option was easier to access for the guy.
Change the Format to H264
Locate the YT Preset in the drop downmenu.
